01
What we collect
Things you tell us. The Contact form and the Start a Project form ask for your name, company, email address, and — if you choose to share them — your phone number, project details, timeline and budget.
Things you give when you create an account. Your email address and a password, or your name and email if you sign in with Google.
Basic visit information, described under visitor analytics below.
02
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and deliver the work you hire us for. Enquiries are sent to Deena Morielli by email and saved so nothing gets lost.
We do not sell your information, and this website does not run advertising trackers.
03
Visitor analytics
We use one analytics tool, Web-Stat, to see how many people visit, which pages they open, roughly what part of the world they are in, and whether they are on a phone or a computer.
It records visit information, not your name or email address, and it does not follow you across other websites. We use it to learn which pages are worth improving.
04
Videos and Instagram posts
Films on the Video page stream from Vimeo, and posts on the Social Media page load from Instagram. When you play one of those, the company hosting it sees the visit and may store its own cookies. We have no control over their privacy practices, so please review theirs.
05
Accounts
If you sign in, we store your email address and sign-in details so we can recognise you. You can ask us to close your account at any time.
06
Who we share information with
Only the companies that help us run the site: the service that hosts it, the service that stores enquiries, the service that sends our email, and Vimeo and Instagram for the embedded content above. They handle information on our behalf and are not permitted to sell it.
07
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries while we are in touch with you and afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off. If you would rather we removed your details sooner, tell us and we will.
08
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have given us. Email deena@ddmorielli.com or call 416-903-0664 and we will take care of it.
If we change this notice, we will update this page and the date at the top.
